Meet Jenny

For almost 30 years, Jenny has been empowering Difference Makers, like Entrepreneurs, Educators, Advocates, Leaders, Creators, and Performers to Speak the Story of their Brand or Role with Confidence, Control, Connection, and Clarity. As a Difference-Maker and Performer herself, Jenny first trained as an opera singer, then a Voice, Speech and Dialects Coach for the Theater. Jenny is one of the most experienced and effective voice coaches in the business and will guide you expertly and compassionately on your Voice Transformation Journey.

Education

Jenny has a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Voice Coaching and Training for the Theater from The National Theater Conservatory, formerly in Denver Colorado, and a Master's Degree in Operatic Performance from the University of Connecticut.

Business Clients

She has taught voice and dialect classes at Denver Center for the Performing Arts since 1994 and has also taught and coached at numerous businesses, including The Colorado School of English, Ready Talk, The Educational Theatre Association, LifeSynch Humana Achieve Program, The Asian American and Pacific Islander Emerging Leaders Program, The Girl Scouts of America, Toastmasters International, The Denver Tech Center Women's Network, and Exempla Lutheran Hospital.

Jenny has taught at many schools and theaters, including The Arvada Center for the Arts, The University of Colorado, Boulder and Denver, The Denver School of the Arts, The University of Alberta, The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, The Bovine Metropolis Theater, and The Shanthinikethana School in Bangalore, India.

Productions

Jenny has coached dialects in productions such as Under Milkwood, A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations, Guys and Dolls, Cabaret, West Side Story, An Ideal Husband, The Grapes of Wrath, House of the Spirits, The Bald Soprano, Driving Miss Daisy, and Steel Magnolias.

Professional Associations and Publications

Jenny is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association and The Colorado Theater Guild. Jenny is a certified K-5 Elementary Teacher, a Voice Over Actor with Radical Artists Agency, a graduate of the Bovine Metropolis Improv School, and she completed the 5-month Leading Edge Business Incubator Program through the Small Business Development Center. Jenny is a Contributor to The Complete Voice and Speech Workout edited by Janet Rodgers and was also a Contributor to the article, “You Just Gotta Laugh” in the July 2014 issue of Real Simple Magazine.

International Experience

Jenny speaks fluent German and is proficient in French and Italian. Jenny has traveled extensively across North America and Europe and to Bangalore, India, Turkey, and Syria. Jenny has volunteered for Optimists International for many years and she recently had the opportunity to work virtually with the TAPAC Organization in Uganda, helping coach children in Bangalore, India, and Mbale, Uganda as part of a fundraising event called "Sing With Africa."
